DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.

Talking in biological terms, we would probably say that the difference between men and women is only the function of the reproductive system. If we focus our attention in nowadays society, we’ll rapidly see that the role that the man plays in society has nothing to do with the role that the woman has always played. As long as society was developing, women style of life was reduced to the household. Man was the one who worked facing social issues, and it probably made that the self-confidence level was higher than in women. This causes a psychological feeling of inferiority in women and a superiority complex for men and the exaltation of this feeling makes them think that women is a property. This can be the trigger of Domestic Violence in male- female cases. It shows that the man thinks he is above the woman but, concurrently, it shows that the man has much insecurity as well. He has to use coercion because he’s afraid of not being able to convince the woman by dialogue. I feel that I need to say we’ve made a wrong idea about domestic violence. When we hear domestic violence, we think about abuse from male to female but we should take in account that there are also many men who suffer mistreat. Cases of female-male domestic violence tend to be more psychological than physical and normally men are less prone to talk about it, so the register digit of female-male cases is very distant, favoring the male- female cases.
